ActionAgenda is a hybrid planner capable of handling to-dos and calendar events simultaneously. You can organize your to-dos with projects, contexts, and tags in a GTD way, and then convert them to calendar events easily.

Calendar syncs with iOS Calendars which syncs with Google, Yahoo, and MS Exchange automatically.
To-do list syncs with iOS Reminders and Toodledo at the same time.

GTD (Getting Things Done) is a proven methodology to free you from stress of managing complex tasks.

◆ Heres short how-tos on using GTD with ActionAgenda:

1. Put whatever comes to your mind in “Inbox”  tab
2. Do simple actionable stuffs right away (tap on check-box to complete) 
3. Make not-so-simple stuffs as project and break it down to smaller steps (drag it to “Project” tab) 
4. Mark which ones need attention (drag it to “Focus” tab or mark star)
5. Make use of context and tag for further categorizing (drag it to “Context”, “Tag” tab) 
6. Schedule it if it has a hard due date (drag it to “Scheduled” tab) 
7. Make an appointment by drag & dropping to “Calendar” 
8. Dont forget to review regularly to keep your trusted system current,
so that you know when, where, and how they can be done fast and easily.

This app is a hidden gem. So much so, I decided to write a review, which is something I rarely do. I am a heavy GTD believer. I use Apple reminders and calendar as core modules and Fantastical as an overlay. A requirement I have is syncing through ICloud as opposed to third part proprietary sync servers. I downloaded this app not expecting much but was blown away. The app is much like the famous Pocket Informant, just way better. Is a simpler approach based loosely on GTD concepts, without feeling restrictive. It allows me to continue using ICloud to sync and works very well with all my existing apps. I consider this app as an "add on" to Fantastical in that it allows my alternative views and the ability to drill down extensively using GTD. Its customizable enough without being overwhelmed. I just wish they had a Mac app.

Extremely well organized and easy to use. Just one thing to improve is a capability of changing font and font size would make it even better. Excellent work Kim! A+++

All functions for GTD planning. Visualization is very simple, intuitive and full - tags, contexts, projects, priorities, focus or all tasks! Synchronization with iOs Calendar. Please give us additional abilities: - reminders for map place (arriving or leaving); - checklists inside tasks; - adding sub-tasks and sub-projects in edit mode; - realtime or manual (on choice) iCloud synchronization with all gadgets. And it will be the best GTD planner!!! Thanks a lot :)

Some bad moments

Excellent quality app. Request that images, addy map links, and phone number action links be added- because that is essentially what Ive been looking for quite some time (over a year) and wont settle. I felt inclined to review although I wont be using this app, I do think it would be perfect if I didnt require said functions.

This is the first app Ive seen of its kind! It has everything! You can put to-dos on a calendar, theres lots of different calendar views, and it syncs with google calendars and the iOS! You can also drag and drop events on the calendar which makes it easy to edit your schedule if there is a change! You can also tag to-dos and filter for tags or certain calendars,etc. I love this app and I recommend it to anyone who needs a good gtd app!

Im one of those "freaks" that has tried 20 or so Task/Calendar apps. This particular one is the "unicorn-app" I thought Id never find (I now have the paid version)! The program does so many things, so very well. It is also worth praising the variety of calendar sync options (seems to be a rarity these days??). And I dont think I recall an app with such speedy menu movements and an intuitive interface that just FLOWS along. Finally, this app breaks new ground, with its brilliant interface (IMO)... the economy of motion needed to carry out commands feels very natural and the number of taps is kept to a minimum (some clever ideas borrowed from other great apps here, as well as some original surprises). **See my longer review with the paid version of this app.

The lite version doesnt seem to connect to anything else. Even if it did, the more advanced features would be stuck on my phone. Who wants to plan on their phone, and see only some of that on their computer?

Whoa, I tested >7 competing apps and this was the best overall. I went for the pro paid version. =^) This is a hard to find (and very handy) hybrid Task + Calendar app. All the best features, and runs reliably. UPDATE: SHORTCOMING This app has no iPad version nor Universal iDevice support. Since I cannot use it with my iPad mini along with my iPhone, now it is less practical for me. =^( =COULD=RECOMMEND= ! create a version for the iPad ! $ very, very few apps like this available $

Really lovely app.. Works wonderful. Wish there was an option to toggle text labels for icons.
